First, some reassurance. Most women have cellulite, including very fit women. It is not a sign of being unhealthy or overweight. It comes from how fibrous bands under the skin tether it down while fat pushes up between them. Hormones, genetics, and thinning skin all play a part.
- TempSure radiofrequency (RF) smoothing. A smooth handpiece warms the deeper skin and the fat layer beneath it. This tightens collagen and improves circulation in the area, which can make dimples look shallower and the skin smoother. TempSure is FDA-cleared to temporarily improve the appearance of cellulite. Can cellulite be removed permanently?
No treatment removes cellulite permanently. RF smoothing improves its appearance for months. Release procedures last one to three years in studies.
How many sessions will I need?
RF works as a series. We set the exact number at your assessment based on your grade and the area. Most people also need occasional maintenance.
When will I see results?
Many people notice smoother-looking skin partway through the series. The best result shows a few weeks after the final session, as collagen firms.
Does it hurt?
No. TempSure feels like a warm massage, and no numbing is needed.
Will losing weight get rid of my cellulite?
Not reliably. Losing weight can reduce cellulite for some people, but it can also loosen skin and make dimples more visible. Building muscle helps the skin look smoother.
Do creams or massage work?
Their effect is small and short-lived. Massage results fade within weeks of stopping, and retinol needs six months or more of daily use for a slight change.
