Double Chin Treatment Services in Houston
A double chin is not always fat. The same full profile can come from loose skin, a small or set-back chin, or a low-sitting bone in the neck. Fat-reduction treatments only help when fat is the main cause, so we check that first.
- CoolSculpting for the chin. CoolSculpting cools fat to a temperature that damages fat cells without harming the skin above. No needles are involved: a small applicator sits under the chin for each cycle. Each session takes about 45–60 minutes, most people need one or two sessions, and results build over about 12 weeks. - Skin tightening for loose neck skin. When the profile softens because the skin has lost firmness, fat treatment can make it look looser. For loose skin we use radiofrequency skin firming (from $199) or Morpheus8 RF microneedling. This is often the right choice after major weight loss.

When Non-Surgical Double Chin Treatment Is Not the Right Choice
Mostly loose skin or neck bands
Fat removal will not lift them. Marked laxity may need a surgical consultation, and we will tell you.

How many sessions will I need?
CoolSculpting usually takes one or two sessions for the chin. Skin tightening is done as a series. Your written plan gives the exact number before you commit.
When will I see results?
With CoolSculpting, results develop over about 12 weeks. We review progress against your baseline photos at follow-up.
Are the results permanent?
The destroyed fat cells do not return. Significant weight gain can still enlarge the fat cells that remain, so a stable weight protects the result.
Is there downtime?
You can usually go back to work the same day. CoolSculpting tends to cause mild redness, numbness, and tenderness.
Will it tighten loose skin?
